(1)WHAT IS MAGICK?

According to Wikipedia, the term Magick was reintroduced by Aleister Crowley in mid 20th century, which he defined as "the science and art of causing change to occur in conformity of the will". As the spelling may suggest that it is differnet from the usual "rabbit in the hat" kind of magic tricks. What is peculiar about the term is its having the letter "k" in its spelling, as opposed to the popular "magic" that most are familiar with. The letter "K" is the 11th number of many alphabets ( according to Wikipedia), thus, corresponding to the significance of the number to magick: 11 is attributed to the ruling powers called Qlippoth (or Kelippoth) which, as some readings would describe as somewhat powerfully resistant entities that existed in the former universe,  and had survived  the cosmic creation process to continue existing in the present universe.

Qlippoth is the plural of Qlippah, and literally translated  as "shells" or "husks".

MAGICK has been broadly defined and is pertained to be performed in various ways. Among which are by banishing, purification, consecration, invocation, evocation, astral travel, eucharist, yoga, and divination.

(2) WHY DO WE NEED TO WRITE OUR OWN SPELL?

I feel that writing one own's spell is similar to doing things on our own. This can enhance our energies, develop self discipline when casting spells conscientiously, and improve one's ability to write spells. Moreover, we know better what we want to happen, why we want it to happen, and how we want it to happen.

(3).WHAT IS THE LAW OF THREE?

The law of three pertains to what transpires when two energy fields (of persons, objects,  animals, places, or maybe even idea) come together. Forming a third energy entity called  "relationship between", it develops, strengthens, grows or even weakens depending on the dynamics of the two energies relationship that forms it.  I have read that the law of three is ever present in that, one's energy can always adhere to other energies, and sometimes, harmfully so, especially if the aim is manipulation of one's free will that can result to serving the manipulator's interest.

(4).COMMENT ON THE WICCAN REDE:

Reading it, it was a beautiful poem that tells people (or wiccans, for that matter) that they can harness the energies around them to enrich their existence but with deep respect and consideration to the welfare of others. It resonates the law of  reciprocity , which is fundmanetal to mnay other religions. The law of reciprocity emphasizes on one's commitment to act only on what can give dignity, goodness, and respect to fellow human beings. The Wiccan Rede is more explicit in including the doer to perform deeds that do not only bring goodness to others but also not harming one's self. I think that the Wiccan Rede is  inspiring  as it is a gentle reminder of our infinite potential to do what we will without bringing harm to others as well as to ourselves.

Well, Gel has an awesome point about the magickal state. Actually for me it is the conditioning of our self in performing magickal act. And it includes the Holistic Aspect of our personality.

Not only the inside transformation but we could extend that into our atmosphere. The Transformation within and without.
